TOWN OF LIND PLANNNING COMMISSIION MEETING MINUTES TUESDAY, AUGUST 6th, 2024 LIND TOWN HALL Chairman Richardson called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. PRESENT: Art Richardson; Colleen McCoy; Steve Gall; Randy Yorkson; Brigid Ferkett; Ruth Wilde, Randy Mitchell. A list of others attending are in the roll call book. APPROVE/AMEND AGENDA: It was moved by Gall, seconded by Mitchell to approve the agenda as printed. Motion carried with voice vote. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: It was moved by Wilde, seconded by Yorkson to approve July 2nd, 2024 Planning Commission minutes as presented. Motion carried with voice vote. PUBLIC INPUT: None Conditional Use Permit – Christina Gain/Agent-Cynthia Thurston property located N1108 County Road A, parcel number 12-21-14-16: Cindy Thurston was present at this meeting. Cindy indicated a driveway is already in place; septic and well will not be installed as a privy will be put in place; will be putting up a shed to enclose the camper when not in use. A reminder to make sure setbacks are in place. 1. Shed would have to be put in place by June by 2026; It was moved by Gall, seconded by Mitchell. Motion carried with voice vote. Zone map amendment and Conditional Use Permit – Drew Gietman located N1869 Cty Rd E, parcel number 12 -07-31-5: Chairman Richardson indicated Zoning Map amendment was not needed based on applicate having 1 suitable acre for number of planned horses. A very lengthy discussion took place on this subject. Letter from Bob Bretiwisch was read into the record. It was moved by Gall, seconded by Mitchell to approve the condition use permit for Drew Gietman located N1869 Cty Rd E, parcel number 12-07-31-5 allowing for 11 animal units. Voice vote carried with one no being recorded. Monday August 19th, 20224 to the town board. Approval of Resolution 2024-8: Town Chair will clarify with Waupaca County Planning and Zoning Office on zoning map amendment. Next Meeting: Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024.
