Town of Lind Special Board Meeting Minutes Lind Town Hall, N1315 County Road A, Waupaca, WI Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. 1. Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m. 2. Open Meeting Statement read. 3. Pledge of Allegiance was done. 4. Roll call – Kathy Nickel, Zoey Nelson, Cindy Hardy, Ken Barrows, Faye Neumann all present. Public attendance per sign in book. 5. Approve or amend agenda: Motion by Z. Nelson to approve agenda as presented; second by C. Hardy; motion passed unanimously by voice vote. 6. Public Comment: None. 7. Review and Consideration of Ordinance #7/25/2024 Restrict Artificial Wake Enhancement on Spencer Lake within the Town of Lind: DNR has approved the Ordinance; Public Hearing was held; Town of Dayton’s Ordinance duplicates wording as required. Discussion held. Supervisor Z. Nelson voiced concerns regarding ability to enforce the Ordinance and potential increase in calls to Sheriff’s Dept or Board members. Motion by K. Nickel to approve Ordinance #7/25/2024 as presented; seconded by C. Hardy. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. 8. Adjournment: Motion by K. Nickel to adjourn; seconded by C. Hardy.
