Town of Taft Minutes to Monthly Meeting July 16, 2024 The July meeting of the Town Board was called to order at 7:20pm. All members present. Verification of Postings: Town Hall, Otter Lake Bait, Foxx Den, on July 15, 2024. There was a motion from Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve and pay all current bills. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion by Del Kroeplin, 2nd by Jerry Czubakowski to accept minutes as read. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. There was a motion by Jerry Czubakowski, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to approve the Treasurer’s Report. Approval was given by voice roll call: Del yes, Jerry yes, Darrell yes, Motion carried. Driveway/Culvert Permit: Request and Fee Received for Culvert permits from Ray Hoover. Road Maintenance: LRIP – TRI Entitlement Update: Shoulder work on County Line Rd is completed. Invoice was received but there was no Engineers Certificate so Darrell will contact them. Payment was held until next month when we have the Engineers Certificate.   ARIP Update – We received notice from SEH of 2 different options we could choose from 1. Reshape, 2. Reshape with stabilized additive. After discussion it was decided Clerk would notify SEH that we would choose Option 2. There was a motion by Darrell, 2nd by Del Kroeplin to authorize treasurer to transfer the necessary funds to pay the upcoming expenditures. To withdraw from the Highway Reconditioning Fund leaving a small amount to keep the savings open. Cash in the Buildings and Grounds CD. and to withdraw $10,000 from the Equipment Fund. Road: Part time employee Kotecki has been working on upgrading sign placement. *Discussion on Recycling: Dump day, Del is unavailable so Darrell or Jerry will cover.
