Common Council Special Meeting Minutes May 27, 2026, at 5:30 PM **CITY HALL COMMON COUNCIL CHAMBERS** 500 Genesee Street, Delafield, WI 53018 Mayor: Tim Aicher Council President: Alderperson Dirk Wilken (D4) Alderpersons: Danielle Henry (D1), Mark Schaefer (D2), Jackie Valde (D3), George Pavin (D5), Paul Price (D6), Stephen Laughland (D7) 5/27/2026 - Minutes Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 5:30 PM. Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call Alderpersons Present: Danielle Henry, Ald. D1; Dirk Wilken, Ald. D4; George Pavin, Ald. D5; Paul Price, Ald. D6; Stephen Laughland, Ald. D7 Alderpersons Excused: Steve Michels, Ald. D2; Jackie Valde, Ald. D3; Also present: Tim Aicher, Mayor; Molly Schneider, City Clerk City of Delafield Citizen Comments Hearing no one who wished to speak, Citizen's Comments were closed. Boards, Committees, and Commission Reports Licenses Discussion and possible action to approve the request by With a Twist, LLC, DBA Belfre Kitchen, located at 606 Genesee Street, Delafield, WI, to appoint successor agent Llazar Konda of Pewaukee, WI, as the Alcohol Beverage agent for the existing Reserve Class “B” Beer and "Class B" Liquor License 34-2526LIQ. Llazar Konda was present to discuss the proposal. Council asked if the business operations were going to change at all. Konda confirmed there would be no major changes. Perhaps a few menu items. Schneider explained that Belfre had temporarily closed, and since that closure the LLC was purchased by agent/owner, Llazar Konda. When the LLC changes hands, there is no requirement for the previous owner to conditionally surrender their license, as the LLC is the actual owner of the license. The intention is to open Belfre to the public June 1, 2026, and the agent change is necessary to accommodate the schedule. The background check had been completed, and the agent was approved. Aicher explained that the previous representative had retired and Susan Mercier was the district recommended replacement. Motion by Henry, seconded by Laughland, to confirm the appointment of Susan Mercier, to the Kettle Moraine School District, may be non-resident, position on the Library Board vacated by Holli Klatt, term to expire 04/2029.
