Town Board Road Bid Meeting — Minutes

Town of West Bend Town Board Minutes May 21, 2026 Chairman Zagel called the Town of West Bend Town Board meeting to order at 9:00 A.M. at the town hall. Chairman Zagel read the Call of the Meeting. Roll Call was taken. Present: Chairman Troy Zagel, Supervisor Mark Wagor, Supervisor Steve Lindley, DPW Director Dennis Roethle, and Clerk Julie Ihlenfeld. Also present was Fahrner Sales Representative Bill Glatz, Jr., Scott Construction Regional Manager John Holzman, and Payne and Dolan Project Manager Annalyse Heinrich. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Opening and awarding of Road Bids. Town received bids for chip sealing from Fahrner Asphalt Sealers LLC and Scott Construction, Inc., and one bid for paving from Payne and Dolan. Discussed whether it is worth investing in crack filling first before chip sealing. Fahrner will give bid for crack filling. Seconded by Wagor. Motion carried unanimously. Seconded by Lindley. Motion carried unanimously. Payne and Dolan will pave Thoma Park Dr, Martha Dr, and Woodland Drive at the end of June, and will pave rest of the roads in August or September.
