Town of West Bend Staff Meeting Minutes April 29, 2026 Chairman Zagel called the Town of West Bend staff meeting to order at 8:30 A.M. at the town hall. Chairman Zagel read the Call of the Meeting. Roll Call was taken. Present: Chairman Troy Zagel, Supervisor Mark Wagor, Supervisor Steve Lindley, DPW Director Dennis Roethle, Clerk Julie Ihlenfeld, Deputy Clerk Carole Ciriacks, Treasurer Kerry Brandner, New Treasurer Jacquelyn Haas, and Zoning Administrator Ben Greenberg. Approval of Minutes of March 25, 2026 Meeting. Motion by Lindly to approve minutes of March 25, 2026 meeting. Seconded by Wagor. Motion carried. Public Works Projects & Status. Discussed 5-year road plan and grant for Mile View Road. 2026 Estimated $500K • Hacker Drive • Dunst Drive • Paradise West Drive • Kenny Drive • Woodland Drive • Martha Drive • Martha Court • George Court • Thoma Park Drive 2027 Estimated $500K • Wickert Drive • West Lake Drive • Ponderosa Road 2028 Estimated $550K • Glen View Pkwy • Boettcher/Cedar Park Drive • Woodhill Court and Juniper Court 2029 Estimated $450K • Woodcrest Ridge Drive • Mile View Road 2030 Estimated (TBD) • Scott Lane • Bellman Drive • Arlene Drive Financial/Budget Issues & Status. Discussed borrowing about $500K for roads and paying back loan each year. Workload Coverage, Communications & Customer Service. Discussed special projects that require follow up, such as violations, fee schedule, and filing. Preliminary Assessment Roll is available upon request. 108 assessment notices were mailed. Room Tax and Recycling Annual Reports were completed. ARPA Annual Report is almost done and working on Municipal Annual Financial Form. Office Equipment & Support Systems. None. Constituents Concerns & Issues. Discussed status of zoning violations, event permits, contractors/owners not taking out permits. Motion by Zagel to adjourn, seconded by Lindley.
