The public hearing will be held jointly by the Planning Commission and Town Board on October 30, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. The public hearing will be held at the Town Meeting place, Rockfield Elementary School, N132 W18473 Rockfield Rd, Germantown WI, 53022. The proposed update is intended to update the comprehensive plan in coordination with Washington County since the current comprehensive plan was adopted in 2008, and to comply with the State requirement that comprehensive plans be updated at least once every 10 years. Copies of the proposed amendment are available for review by appointment only by contacting the Town Clerk by mail at the address indicated below, by phone at (262) 328-7615, or by email at twnofgtown@icloud.com. The public is invited to speak on the proposed amendment at the Public Hearing. Written comments may be submitted prior to or at the public hearing. Any questions, written comments, or requests for a copy of the proposed amendment should be directed to the Town Clerk at the address indicated below. Written comments will be given the same weight as oral testimony and be part of the public record. The Planning Commission and Town Board will review the comments received prior to adoption of the plan update. The Planning Commission and Town Board will consider adoption of the proposed amendment at a Special Town Meeting immediately following the public hearing at 6:30 p.m. at Rockfield Elementary School.
