Metz Town Clerk, Kristin Dhein Supervisor, Chad Dhein Supervisor, Jennifer Guslick Treasurer, Dianne Lyman REGULAR MEETING MINUTES Monday, October 14, 2024 * Minutes of the Monthly Regular Meeting of the Town of Germantown, October 14, 2024, at the Town meeting place (Rockfield Elementary School, N132W18473 Rockfield Rd, Germantown, WI 53022) * Clerk posted proper meeting notification. * Meeting was called to order at 7:01 pm by Paul Metz Members Present: Paul Metz-Chairman, Dianne Lyman-Treasurer, Chad Dhein-Supervisor, Kristin Dhein- Clerk Present Off-Site: Jennifer Guslick-Supervisor Excused Members: None * Town member/Guests present: Brianna Wilson, Jared Wilson, Michael Hug * Public Presentation: None * Appearance: None * Clerk read the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on Monday, September 9, 2024. Chad Dhein made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Motion was seconded by Paul Metz. Motion carried. * Treasurer read the Treasurer’s Report. Chad Dhein made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report. Motion was seconded by Paul Metz. Motion carried. * The Board examined the bills to be paid and signed checks. Chad Dhein made a motion to accept the bills. Motion was seconded by Paul Metz. Motion carried. * New Business: o 145 Saloon – New Bartenders – The Board reviewed the new bartender licenses for 145 Saloon. Chad Dhein made a motion to approve the issuing of new licenses for two bartenders (Brianna Wilson and Jared Wilson). Paul Metz seconded the motion. Motion carried. o Michael Hug – Requested a planning board meeting and public hearing to erect an oversized accessory building (1500 sq. ft.) on his property of 0.91 acres on Rockfield Rd. Chad Dhein made a motion to move this request on to the planning board and to a public hearing. Paul Metz seconded the motion. Motion carried. o Hazard Mitigation Plan Resolution – The Board reviewed Resolution No. 10-14-24-03 and the 2024 Washington County Hazard Mitigation Plan. Chad Dhein made a motion to adopt the Washington County All Hazard Mitigation Plan - Resolution No. 10-14-24-03. Paul Metz seconded the motion. Motion carried. * Continued Discussion: o ARPA Funds – The Board discussed how to spend the remaining ARPA funds before the funds expire in December. The Board will continue to follow up on this next month. o Update on .gov email addresses – The .gov emails have been sent to TownWeb and the Board is waiting to hear about next steps. o Discuss Town’s Comprehensive Plan – The Town Board will hold a public hearing on October 30 at 6:30 pm at Rockfield Elementary to complete the comprehensive plan amendment process. o ATV/UTV discussion on Town roads – This will be discussed at a future meeting. * Clerk dispersed the mail that was received for Board members. * The next regular meeting will be on November 11, 2024 at 7:00pm at Rockfield Elementary School. * Chad Dhein made a motion to adjourn.
