TOWN OF PRESQUE ISLE SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES 8310 School Loop Rd October 13, 2026 – 10:00 AM Subject: Room Tax 1. Call to Order Chair Eschenbauch called the Special Town Board Meeting to order at approximately 10:00 AM. 2. Roll Call / Present Present were: • Town Board Chair Eschenbauch • Supervisor Wolter • Supervisor Logan Weber • Chamber of Commerce Board Members: Barb Peck, Marney Weigand, and Chris Wolter • Finance Committee Member: Bruce Bohren • Clerk Lori Thomas 3. Purpose of Meeting The meeting was convened to discuss the possibility of increasing the Room Tax/Accommodation Tax rate. 4. Discussion Summary • Reviewed current revenue and tax rate. • Discussed Chamber needs, compliance issues, and permit fee options. • Addressed need for improved reporting and public input. • Board to continue discussion at Thursday Town Board Meeting. 5.
