Northwoods EMS District Budget Committee Meeting Date & Time: Friday, May 29, 2026 – 10:00 AM Location: Presque Isle Community Building A quorum of Town Board members from each of the four member Towns may be present at this meeting. Discussion of the definitions of common accounting terms such as cashflow, budget, projections, accruals, encumbered funds, profit loss statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed costs and variable costs. • B. Start discussion of current 2027 budget. (Use approved 2026 Budget worksheet to start conversations) • C. Discussion regarding future capital planning and reserve funding considerations. • D. Discussion regarding member town payment schedules and cash flow considerations. • E. Discussion regarding facility planning costs and possible consultant expenditures related to future EMS district building needs. • F. Discussion of John’s updated and most recent cashflow assumptions referencing email dated: Monday May 11, 2026. • G. Discussion of May to May financials provided by Jason Joling Chief in email dated Wednesday May 6, 2026. 9.
