Special Town Board Minutes 3.10.26

Town of Presque Isle Special Town Board Meeting 3-10-2026 2 pm Town Office 8306 School Loop Road Presque Isle, WI 54557 Minutes Meeting will be at The Chamber Electronic Message Board and may reconvene at Town Hall Old Business. 1. Operational Procedures for Electronic Message Board: Chairman Eschenbauch called the meeting to order in front of the Electronic Message Board, near the river in Presque Isle. Discussion followed on sign brightness, message duration, and sign managment. The Lions purchase of the sign stated they continue to own the sign but agree they were not part of deciding how it operates. The meeting left the sign area and convened at the Town Hall Board room. 2. KerberRose Proposal for Accounting Services: The Board reviewed the proposal from KerberRose, an accounting firm, to help the town office personnel with issues they are having with Payroll stipends and W2s. Chairman Eschenbauch made a motion to accept the proposal presented by KerberRose to review the 2025 payroll and filed forms, assistance with 2025 correction filings and assistance with 2026 check discrepancies in Quick Books. Supervisor Weber seconded the motion, carried and approved by all. 3. Interview for Finance Committee Member: The board interviewed Dave Bogan for an open position on the Finance Committee.
