Sanitary District Commissioners to act on hiring a company to televise the sanitary sewer main lines. Motion by Scott/Czahor to televise the entire system including the section on West Street; hire the company Flow-Rite from Galesville, Wisconsin at a cost of $1.25 per foot which includes cleaning & televising (approximate cost: $6,650). Motion carried. Town Board and Sanitary District to discuss and act on entering into an agreement for the Town to assume various financial responsibilities on behalf of the sanitary district. Jensen, Scott, Grunewald & Shiffler drafted two opinions regarding the potential for a conflict of interest on the part of Julie Scott, both commissioner and town clerk. Since there is no private benefit to Scott, there is not a conflict of interest. The attorney requested that it was prudent for the sanitary district, Scott, and town board to explicitly state for the record, prior to the vote, that there will be no additional compensation to Scott, as town clerk. Thus Scott openly stated this fact as did the town board. Town Chair Roiger stated that by entering into this contract the sanitary district could begin building equity in their accounts. Czahor/S. Peterson motioned to approve the sanitary district and town board to enter into a financial duties agreement and eliminate the position of WSD Business Manager effective August 1, 2011. Motion carried. Scott/Czahor motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:55 p.m. Motion carried. Julie Scott, Town Clerk/WSD Commissioner
