Road Status/Culverts The Town Clerk reported receipt of Eau Claire County's Culvert Inspection letter, which indicated that the culvert on Scenic Road is improperly sized, deteriorating, and requires replacement. The Town Clerk is tasked with contacting the Eau Claire Highway Department to discuss replacement details and scheduling for the upcoming year. The Town Board also addressed concerns regarding the newly replaced culvert on Sunny Nook Road, which has become nearly blocked again due to local beaver activity. The Town Chairman will reach out to the DNR to explore available solutions to address this issue. The town discussed trimming trees along local roads and considered temporarily leasing a bucket truck from resident Troy Shulner. Because of the weather, they decided to wait until spring when the snow and ice have melted to start the work. The Town Clerk will gather the necessary details, prepare a straightforward equipment lease, and present it at the next meeting for future reference. 2026 Budget Approval The Town Clerk presented the proposed 2026 Budget for approval.
