Town of Drammen Meeting Minutes May 8, 2023 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ed Risler with all board members except Joe Becker present. Town residents Jim Williams, Greg Lampman and Joe Williams representing Monarch Paving were in attendance. Motion to approve the April minutes made by Jeff Larson and seconded by Ed Risler. Motion carried. Motion to approve the April treasurer’s report made by Ed Risler and seconded by Jeff Larson . Motion carried. Motion to approve the April 2023 bills made by Ed Risler and seconded by Jeff Larson with the addition of Ad Delite for $32.50. Motion carried. The road bids for Hemlock Rd east of Highway 37 for ½ mile to be replaced were opened. The only bid from Monarch Paving was for $119861.03 for a compacted depth of 2 ½ inch depth and for a 2 inch compacted depth was $106242.67. Motion by Jeff Larson and seconded by Ed Risler to postone the road project because of the cost. Motion carried. The clerk will contact Matt Michels about Chapter five of the Comprehensive Plan and see about availability for the June meeting. Motion to adjourn made by Jeff Larson and seconded by Ed Risler.
