Village of Cross Plains Sustainability Committee Regular Meeting Notice and Agenda July 8, 2026 6:00 pm This meeting will be held in-person at Village Hall and via Zoom. Call to Order and Roll Call The m eeting of the Sustainability Committee was called to order at 6:00 pm. Present: Committee members Trustee Jed Henry, Melissa Gavin, Jenny Dedering and Cat Larsen. Al so Present: Public Facilities Director Matt Couey and Trustee Michael Pomykalski II. Public Comment Br ian Orland, 1771 Cornerstone Dr, spoke on his interest in joining the Sustainability Committee III. General Business 1. Committee Member Reports. Ded ering requested looking into the Water Quality Corridorthat Cross Plains use to have and why it got removed. 2. Discussion and Possible Approval of the June 10, 2026 Sustainability Meeting Minutes. A moti on was made by Dedering, seconded by Larsen, and unanimously approved by the Sustainability Committee to approve the June 10th, 2026, Meeting Minutes. 3. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Renewable Energy/Energy Efficiency Goal Resolution for the Village of Cross Plains. Di scussion on finding a baseline of electricity usage at Village owned property. Coming with solutions to help bring usage down to help the Village become more efficient. 4. Discussion on Education and Community Outreach Initiative and Demonstration Project. Dis cussion about articles in the Village newsletter. Possibly pairing with a Solar Organization during a community event to help promote and answer questions. 5. Wrap Up, Next Steps, and Schedule Next Meeting. Nex t meeting 8-19-2026. IV. Future Agenda Items Rev iew draft of Comprehensive Plan update. Possible discussion on water quality corridor. Possible discussion on data received from Village owed Property. V. Adjournment A m otion was made by Dedering, seconded by Larsen, and unanimously carried by the Sustainability Committee to adjourn. The meeting ended at 6:55 p.m. This meeting notice constitutes an official meeting of the above referenced group and was posted in accordance with all applicable laws related Open Meetings Law. It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality may be in attendance at the above stated meeting to gather information. No action will be taken by any governmental body at the above stated meeting other than the governmental body specifically referred to above in this notice.
