1 Town of Verona Town Board Meeting Minutes Wednesday, June 17, 2026 – 12:00 pm Town Board Members Present: Chair Mark Geller, Tom Mathies, Dave Lonsdorf, Deb Paul, Mike Duerst Staff Present: Administrator/Planner Sarah Gaskell 1. Call to Order/Approval of the Agenda – Chair Geller called the meeting to order at 12:00 pm. Motion by approve the agenda by Duerst, second by Mathies. Motion carried by voice vote. 2. Public Comment - none 3. Old Business A. Motion to convene into closed session pursuant to sec. §19.85(1)(e) of the Wisconsin Statutes for purposes of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session (Discussion regarding negotiation of new or extended Boundary Agreement with the City of Verona) by Geller. Second by Duerst. Roll call vote – unanimous. Entered into closed session at 12:01pm. B. Motion to return to Open Session by Mathies, second by Duerst. Motion carried by voice vote. C. Discussion and Possible Action: Issues discussed in Closed Session Motion to authorize the Town Administrator to send a response letter to the City of Verona regarding the Boundary Agreement by Geller, second by Paul. Motion carried by voice vote 4. Adjournment – Motion to adjourn by Geller, second by Duerst. Meeting adjourned without objection at 12:21pm.
