TOWN OF SUN PRAIRIE PLAN COMMISSION MEETING Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Town of Sun Prairie Plan Commission will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, 5556 Twin Lane Road to transact the following business: 1. Call meeting to order. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Statement of Public Notice. 4. Approve minutes of the March 20, 2023 Plan Commission meeting. 5. Recess for comments from the public. 6. Public Hearing: on a request from Scott and Lindsay Weisensel to rezone Parcel #0811- 364-8626-0, 13.057 acres, located at Ridge Road currently zoned A1-EX (Agriculture Exclusive) to SFR (Single Family Residence). Scott and Lindsay would like to break off 2.00 acres to build a new home in the future. The Planning Commission has requested a conservation easement be put into place. 7. Consider and Take Action on Scott & Lindsay Weisensel request. 8. Public Hearing: on a request from Dennis Midthun. Dennis would like to pursue the next phase for development at Savannah Valley. Dennis has proposed a new plat map which will have 14 new residential lots and will be called Oak Woods. 9. Consider and Take Action on Dennis Midthun request. 10. Preliminary Hearing: On a request from Gavin Hallman, on Parcel #0811-324-9090-4, 2 acres, located at 4768 Garden Court, currently zoned RH-1 (Rural Homes District). Gavin would like to purchase this parcel and rezone it to MFR (Multiple Family Residential). 11. Preliminary Hearing: On a request from Jake Smith, on Parcel #0811-192-8440-2, 2.89 acres, currently zoned RH-1 (Rural Homes District), located at 3090 Bailey Rd. and Parcel #0811-192-8010-2, 2.20 acres, currently zoned RH-1 (Rural Homes District), and Parcel #0811-183-8060-3, 16 acres, currently zoned A-1(EX) (Exclusive Agriculture) located at 3084 Bailey Rd. to discuss his business he wants to run out of this location. 12. Consider and Take Action: Discuss and take action on Solar Energy Ordinance #2022-3 for Town of Sun Prairie. 13. Presentation from the Comprehensive Plan Committee on the Town of Sun Prairie Land Use Map and the Comprehensive Plan. 14. Next meeting date: Monday, May 15, 2023. Adjournment.
