TOWN OF SUN PRAIRIE PLAN COMMISSION MEETING Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Town of Sun Prairie Plan Commission will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, 5556 Twin Lane Road to transact the following business: 1. Call meeting to order. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Statement of Public Notice. 4. Approve minutes of the February 20, 2023 Plan Commission meeting. 5. Recess for comments from the public. 6. Public Hearing: on a request from Adam Weisensel to rezone Parcel #0811-133-9420-0, currently zoned COM (Commercial) to AG (Agriculture) and Parcel #0811-133-9410-0, currently zoned SFR (Single Family Residence) to AG (Agriculture) and create a new .5 acre lot to be zoned COM (Commercial) located at 1794 County Highway T. Adam has purchased an additional 1.5 acres from the previous owner. The Planning Commission has set the following Conditional Use Permit. 7. Consider and Take Action on Adam Weisensel request. 8. Public Hearing: on a request from Gary Ziegler to rezone Parcel #0811-303-9002-5, Lot #2. 5.131 acres, located at 5048 Thorson Rd., currently zoned SFR (Single Family Residence) to AG (Agriculture). 9. Consider and Take Action on Gary Ziegler request. 10. Preliminary Hearing: on a request from Scott and Lindsay Weisensel to rezone Parcel #0811-364-8626-0, 13.057 acres, located at Ridge Road currently zoned A1-EX (Agriculture Exclusive) to SFR (Single Family Residence). Scott and Lindsay would like to break off 2.25 acres to build a new home in the future. 11. Preliminary Hearing: on a request from Jacob Yelk to rezone Parcel #0811-234-9000-1, 40 acres, located at 5319 Pierceville Rd., currently zoned A1-EX (Agriculture Exclusive) to AG (Agriculture). Jacob would like to break off 7.5 acres from the rest of the farmland. 12. Preliminary Hearing: on a request from Dennis Midthun. Dennis would like to pursue the next phase for development at Savannah Valley. Dennis has proposed a new plat map which will have 14 new residential lots and will be called Oak Woods. 13. Consider and Take Action: Discuss and take action on Solar Energy Ordinance #2022-3 for Town of Sun Prairie. 14. Presentation from the Comprehensive Plan Committee on the Town of Sun Prairie Land Use Map and the Comprehensive Plan. 15. Next meeting date: Monday, April 17, 2023. Adjournment.
