Town of Rutland Board Meeting Minutes May 11, 2026 3:00 PM 785 Center Road, Stoughton WI 1. Call to order. Supervisor Mark Porter called the meeting to order in the absence of Chairman Kent Knutson 2. Roll Call. Present: Supervisors Mark Porter, Jim Dorn, Michelle Perz. Absent: Chairman Kent Knutson, Supervisor Sue Williams. Also present Clerk Dawn George, Deputy Clerk Amanda Bartlett, Patrolman Chester Ace, Darren Bosshard with Wolf Paving. 3. Discussion and possible action on awarding road sealcoat and paving proposals. The proposals submitted for paving were Wolf - $147,546.35, Payne & Dolan - $153,725.00 and Tri County - $150,569.08 The proposals submitted for sealcoating were Fahrner - $48,270.00 and Scott - $50,750.00 Following discussion, bids were awarded as follow: Road pulverizing and paving reconstruction of Hill Road, motion and second by Dorn and Perz to award bid to Wolf Paving in the amount of $147,546.35. Construction will not start until SMA is received, which will be approximately July 2026. Clerk Dawn George is authorized to sign; motion carried 3-0. Sealcoating of Starr School, motion and second by Dorn and Perz to award bid to Fahrner in the amount of $48,270.45, Clerk Dawn George is authorized to sign; motion carried 3-0. 4. Adjournment. Motion and second by Perz and Dorn; motion carried 3-0.
