Town of Rutland Planning Commission Meeting-MINUTES 785 Center Rd. November 3, 2025 – 6:30 p.m. This meeting will be held via zoom and in person at the Rutland Town Hall Planning Commission meeting Agenda: 1. Call meeting to order. PC Chair Huycke called the meeting to order at 6:31 pm 2. Roll Call; Bill Boerigter, Derek Nedveck, Josh Cooper, Michelle Perz, alternate Kent Knutson and Jim Huycke were present. Dawn George and Kim Sime also present. Others in attendance in person or via zoom were John Olson, Todd Hanson and Tom Mathies. 3. Approval of the October meeting minutes. Cooper motioned to approve. Second by Boerigter. MP 5-02 4. Clarification on schedule of Public Hearing for CUP 2687 by John Olson, 3447 State Highway 138 to allow for caretakers residence. Public hearing is set for December 1, 2025 at 6:30 pm. PC meeting will follow PH. 5. Petition 12230 by John Olson, 3447 State Highway 138 to rezone .25 acres from SFR-08 to HC Heavy Commercial district with deed restriction to limit the land uses of the HC zoning district to vehicle repair and a caretaker’s residence. Boerigter motioned to recommend the Town Board approve Petition 12230. Second by Perz. MP 5-0 6. Discussion and possible recommendation of Event Permit. Perz presented a draft of Events permit. After discussion, Perz will make some edits and present at the Dec PC mtg. No Action Taken. 7. Discussion and possible recommendation of Escrow Ordinance Boerigter motioned to recommend the Town Board accept and approve with amendments and Attorney approval. Second by Nedveck. MP 5-0 8.
