Special Town Board Meeting — Minutes

TOWN OF EAGLE TOWN BOARD SPECIAL MEETING August 19, 2026 Approved Minutes Chairperson Mommaerts called the meeting to order at 5:30pm. Roll Call: D. Domagalski, R. Kugel, C. Mommaerts, F. Lang, and R. Hajewski were present. Discussion/action on future fire and EMS funding options: Discussion took place on holding a referendum versus fire fees. Dialog between the board and members of the audience indicated preference towards a referendum. Other input included the short turn-around for the November election and uncertainty about budgets and structure of the fire department. Motion by Kugel to table further discussion until budgets are finalized and to pursue the possibility of an April referendum. Second by Domagalski. Motion carried 5-0. Motion to adjourn was made by Kugel. Hajewski seconded the motion. All in favor. The meeting was adjourned at 6:06pm. Respectfully submitted, Mercia Christian, Clerk
