domain, library director’s retirement announcement, strategic plan, training and policies for the 3D printer, storage area
quote, and collection development policy. The 2027-2031 Waukesha County Library Services Plan was not approved due to
concerns regarding minimum FTEs. It needs to go to all the library boards. 50% of the boards representing 80% of the
population need to approve it and then it goes to the county.
Planning and Zoning: No report.
Joint Municipal Buildings Committee: Domagalski reported the meeting discussion mainly included sleeping quarters at
KMFD Station 33.
Kettle Moraine Fire District Report: The report and call log provided by Chief Nottling was reviewed. Discussion took
place on cancelled calls and pass taken. Chief Nottling’s written report also addressed comments made on a social media
post. Meeting discussion included no back up supply order person, the hiring process, staffing requirements, exit interviews,
and absence of an audit. Kugel wants his opinion on record that quarterly payments should be withheld until the
intermunicipal agreement is being followed.
Joint Municipal Court did not meet.
Lake Management District Hajewski reported on last night’s meeting. They are looking for a weed harvester operator.
Paperwork is being prepared for chemical treatment of weeds. Boat launch monitors for Clean Boats Clean Waters are
being worked on. Study of outflows, the spring newsletter, lake patrol, and the wake enhancement bill were also discussed.
Agenda Item 12c Garbage & Recycling: GFL has again asked for the Consent to Assignment, however the board is still
reluctant to sign it due to the many complaints from residents that they are unhappy with the current garbage service. The
town did not receive written notice until after the acquisition took place, which could be grounds to challenge the contract.
Motion by Hajewski to authorize the Chair to work with our attorney to draft a letter to GFL notifying them of a desire to
terminate service with them, working with the attorney to make sure that all aspects of that are correct and legal so that we
may take up service with John’s Disposal Service of Whitewater. Second by Domagalski. Motion carried 5-0.
Discussion/action on radio upgrade: Kugel reported the repeater has been moved from test mode to trunk mode and is
asking board approval for the purchase of radios for the Town. Five mobile radios and four portable radios are requested.
They are used and would cost about $1500. Motion by Mommaerts to give Supervisor Kugel the funds needed to complete
the radio purchases as described. Second by Domagalski. Motion carried 5-0.
Discussion/action on TEAM Committee: The board members expressed limited availability. Mommaerts will try to find a
citizen to head the committee. Motion to table to the April 2026 Town Board meeting made by Mommaerts, seconded by
Kugel. Motion passed 4-1 (Knauer).
Discussion/action on disbursement of private road plowing funds: Discussion took place on letting the funds run out on
their own as plowing bills are received versus disbursing the funds to the roadmasters. Motion by Mommaerts that the Town
Clerk draft a letter to the roadmasters of Wambold and Lake Roads advising them to set up bank accounts for the roads so
that all funds can be disbursed by May 1, 2026. Second by Kugel. Motion carried, 5-0.
Discussion/action to establish hiring process for DPW employee: An employment ad, wages, and job posting locations
were discussed, along with the possibility of joint services. Kugel will work on the employment ad to bring back next
month. Motion by Mommaerts to review next month . Second by Kugel. Motion carried, 5-0.

the next activity guide. Pickleball remains strong.

District. The next election is in April.
Roads Report: Kugel reported on the LRIP Grant for Wilton Road. It is being looked at but he has not heard anything
back. Roads are in decent shape. Kugel is holding off posting spring weight limits but is monitoring daily. The twenty-year-
old tractor in for repair has a blown engine. The repair estimate is $12,000. Replacement options were discussed.
Chairperson Report: Mommaerts reported on the Farm Bureau meeting. They are trying to recruit new members and are
hosting Farm Chats at Marty’s Pizza during the winter months.
Citizen Correspondence: Domagalski received a call from a constituent that called both numbers for the Kettle Moraine
Fire Department at about noon on Monday. The calls were not answered so the individual ended up dialing 911 for a non-
emergency call.
Requests by supervisors for future agenda items: Requests were made for industrial park stormwater, fire fee committee
update, and future plan and grant optimization.
Upcoming Meetings: Mommaerts announced the next Planning and Zoning meeting is Wednesday March 4 at 5:30 to be
