Town Elector Meeting — Minutes

BUDGET HEARING/SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF EAGLE, WAUKESHA COUNTY NOVEMBER 19, 2025 6:30PM APPROVED MINUTES Chairperson Mommaerts opened the Public Hearing at 6:30pm. The 2026 Budget was presented. The following comments/questions were received: Sandra Shorr asked about the decrease in the cemetery budget. The treasurer explained they estimated for three burials in 2025 and there were none, so they backed it down to one burial for 2026. Chairperson Mommaerts closed the public hearing at 6:36pm.and called to order the Special Meeting of the Electors. Levy Adoption Resolution 25-07 was read by Mommaerts. A motion was made by Shawn Lang to adopt Resolution 25-07 as written, seconded by Sandra Shorr, to adopt 2025 tax levy in the amount of $796,406. Upon show of hands, the motion carried 19 aye, 0 nay, and 0 abstaining. Mommaerts adjourned the Special Town Meeting of the Electors at 6:38pm.
