approximately 100 responses. He encouraged the Parks Committee to take the survey and encourage
others to participate. Administrator Green stated he spoke with Blake from Parkitecture, who is working
on concept plans which are expected to be complete in February. The goal is to have Blake present
the concept plans at the February or March Parks Committee meeting.
Administrator Green also provided an update on the Base ball Field installation at Community Park. .
The fence poles have been installed, though the fence itself has not yet been completed. Concrete
pads for bleachers have been poured, and base pads have been ordered and delivered. The
bleachers will likely not be assembled until spring, after the fencing is completed. Park Supervisor Mike

Parks Supervisor’s Report
Parks Supervisor Mike Lund gave a brief update on current Parks Department projects and
accomplishments. No action was taken.
Event Planning
A. Continued preliminary planning for 2026 Easter Egg-stravaganza
Chair Quinn provided an update on behalf of absent Committee Member Marlene. Six vendor
tables have been filled so far, with several more callbacks expected. Marlene is working on securing
a person to play the Easter Bunny. The police auxiliary has committ ed to assist with parking, and
the Lutheran Church will provide volunteers. It was noted that promotional flyers have been
created and will be distributed through the village website, email to local schools, and signage.
The fire station sign and a banner will be used closer to the event date.
B. Continued preliminary planning 2026 Community Festival
Administrator Green discussed s everal contracts requiring approval. Fender Bender Band has
provided a contract and will be present to the Village Board. Fun Play Inflatables located in
Jefferson, WI provided a quote for a climbing wall, which was slightly cheaper than previous
quotes. Cattail Critters will be replacing the petting zoo vendor . It was noted that Cattail Critters is
farther away which increases their cost. Unlike the previous vendor, they do not include food to
feed the animals and do not allow anyone inside the petting area. The committee discussed either
charging a nominal fee for feed or budgeting an additional amount to provide feed at no cost to
attendees. Administrator Green confirmed that Chil lwaukee is available for the event date, and a
quote has been received from Kona Ice. He also stated he has reached out to the face painter and
is waiting for confirmation of her availability. The Committee discussed having Sweet Kettle Corn
back as it was well-received last year. It was agreed that Administrator Green will contact them.
Items to be Placed on a Future Agenda
The Committee requested a review of the existing 5 -Year Parks Plan after Parkitecture’s forthcoming
presentation.
Deputy Clerk Haugland reviewed the remaining topics coming back to the Committee . No further
additions were requested.
Adjournment
