MEETING MINUTES FOR SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Wednesday September 2, 2026 The Special meeting was called to order by Chairman Todd Weinberger at 6:03 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Recognize Those In Attendance- Sign in Sheet for the Electors and State Representative Joan Fitzgerald Posting of the meeting agenda completed on Wednesday August 26, 2026 The purpose is to put the Town of Medina on record for Resolution 2026-01- Establishing Formal Regulatory and Economic Objections to the Proposed Bell Center-Columbia- Sugar-Creek-Illinois State Line (BECI) 765 kV Transmission Line Project. Chairman Todd Weinberger read aloud in entirety the Resolution 2026-01. By Show of hands- Electors supporting the resolution- all in attendance, Electors opposing the resolution-none. Motion made by Supervisor Sue Zingshiem to adopt Resolution 2026-01 Establishing Formal Regulatory and Economic Objections to the Proposed Bell Center-Columbia- Sugar-Creek-Illinois State Line (BECI) 765 kV Transmission Line Project. Motion was seconded by Supervisor Steven Nampel. Roll Call Vote- Supervisor John Hellenbrand-yes, Supervisor Steven Nampel-yes, Supervisor Phillip Braithwaite-yes, Supervisor Sue Zingshiem-yes, Chairman Todd Weinberger-yes. Motion carried and Resolution adopted 5/0. Adjournment: Motion made by Supervisor John Hellenbrand to adjourn at 6:15 p.m. Motion passed 5/0.
