Annual Town Meeting — Minutes

Town of Medina Annual Meeting of Electors Tuesday, April 21st, 2026 -Chairman Weinberger called the Annual Meeting to Order at 7:00 pm.  --7 electors were present: John Hellenbrand, Phillip Braithwaite, Todd Weinberger, Sue Zingshiem, Steve Nampel, Jim Stuntebeck, and Tony Warpinski -The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by electors -Chairman Weinberger welcomed everyone to the Elector Meeting Motion to approve April 15th, 2025, Annual Meeting of the Electors Minutes, Motion made by John Hellenbrand, Motion was seconded by Sue Zingshiem. Motion carried . 7/0 Chairman Weinberger addressed: Jim Stuntebeck was looking to burn about 3 acres of prairie grass but couldn’t get in contact with anyone. Alternate numbers given to him to try. Tony Warpinski requested a copy of the Noxious Weed posting. Todd Weinberger advised there would be some repair work on Box Elder in the areas that are low. Update on the Box Eler Road loan and wait to pay off with LRIP funds once they are received. Update on the current loans for the PSB and Missouri Road. Future loans for the fire truck and Sherman Drive. All LRIP projects applied for have been denied. Trek Road Race will be May 8th and May 9th. The Town of Medina will start using the Enbridge area on Cherry Lane for storage of equipment. Nothing yet from Lukasz about grants for a town hall. Audit has been completed and waiting for a presentation date. -The 2026 Annual Meeting will be held on April 20th, 2027 @ 7:00 pm at the Medina Town Hall. -Motion to Adjourn at 7:35 p.m. by Supervisor John Hellenbrand, Motion was seconded by Supervisor Tony Warpinski.
