Chief Wraalstad presented the patrol summary for the board. Things have slowed
down a little now that kids are back in school. Clerk Hann send to Chief an email on a
political organization canvasing in the Town of Merton. They will be here from now
until January and will be going door to door from 3 pm to 9 pm. Chief will be
reviewing that. Supervisor Fleming comment on a property that has junk outside.

Old Business: None
New Business:

Clerk Hann commented on the two companies that presented quotes for the Town’s
Property and Liability Insurance. The quotes where not that much different and
recommended staying with Horton Group since the town has been with their company
for many years. Supervisor Herrick recommended bring a resolution to the next town
board meeting.
Review Establishing the Annual Char ge per residential unit for Solid Waste and
Recycling Collection Fee on the 2026 Tax Bill. Clerk Hann brought to the town board
a breakdown on the anticipated cost for 2027 which would be a 3.8% increase from
last years. Supervisor Herrick asked what about takin g off the administration fee.
Clerk Hann recommended to talk to Treasurer Kempen to make sure that if that
administration fee is taken off that the town would still brea k even. The concern is
the tonnage for 2027 is an estimate based on 2026 figu res and compare taking the
revenue off for 2027 would we still break even.

the cost of the 2026 Road Project and we were able to add another 500 feet to the
road project and still stayed under contract. A motion to approve payment of
