DRAFT 634 State Road 19 PO Box 37, Marshall, WI 53559 www.townofmedina.org 1 MEETING MINUTES FOR TOWN OF MEDINA BOARD of Supervisors Special Meeting Tuesday July 23rd, 2024 Monthly Meeting Minutes The monthly meeting for the Town of Medina Board of Supervisors was called to order by Chairman Todd Weinberger at 6:00 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Present were Chairman Todd Weinberger, Supervisor Phillip Braithwaite, Supervisor John Ward, Supervisor Sue Zingshiem and Supervisor John Hellenbrand. Also present: Clerk/Treasurer Stephanie Lulling, Highway Patrolman Randy Krause, Kim Kohler, Jen Koberstein, Bonnie Simpson, Ruth Brosig, Cindy Brosig, and Max Brosig Town Board Meeting Posted: Monday July 22nd, 2024; Town Hall, Whisper’s Roadhouse, Barrel Inn, and Townofmedina.wi.gov Public Appearances: None currently. Correspondence for the Board: FEMA information: Updates given by Chairman Todd Weinberger. Supervisor Sue Zingshiem advised that she was in contact with Carrie Meier from Dane County Emergency Management and was advised that private residence would not qualify. Chairman Todd Weinberger advised that the Town of Medina did not qualify for FEMA funds as the state threshold wasn’t met. Discuss and Approve AA Environmental estimate: Motion made by Supervisor John Hellenbrand to approve the additional amount of $6850.00 to be paid to AA Environmental. Motion was seconded by Supervisor John Ward. Roll Call vote- Supervisor Phillip Braithwaite-yes, Supervisor John Hellenbrand-yes, Supervisor Sue Zingshiem-yes, Supervisor John Ward, and Chairman Todd Weinberger-yes Motion passed 5/0. Discuss and Approve Traut Road estimate: Highway Patrolman Randy Krause gave the information on 2 estimates-1 from Skalitzky drainage and 1 from Lauersdorf Excavating. Motion made by Supervisor John Hellenbrand to approve the Lauersdorf Excavating estimate of $3308.40 and an 18 inch culvert, Motion was seconded by Supervisor Sue Zingshiem.
