Town of Montrose Land Use Committee Meeting Monday, January 26, 2026; 7:30pm Montrose Town Hall, 1341 Dianne Ave Belleville, WI 53508 Call to Order Approval of Minutes 1. Jim and Mark Fahey of Prairieland Dairy are requesting approval to create a one-lot Certified Survey Map (CSM) for approximately 6.25 acres of parcel 040/0508-101-9001-0 and to rezone the subject parcel from FP-35 (Farmland Preservation) to RR-4 (Rural Residential). The purpose of this request is to separate the existing farmstead, including the current farm buildings and associated surrounding land, from the remaining agricultural acreage, which will continue to be retained and actively farmed by Prairieland Dairy. 2. Request by Tonie Rocke and Jorge Osorio for the committee to review and discuss their business plan and intended zoning use of the commercial building, formerly Landmark Creamery, at 6895 Paoli Road, Belleville, WI to determine if there would be foreseen problems or objections to the intended use of the facility: The front of the building to serve as a wine bar, and retail sales of wine, simple syrups, jam and marinades; the back of the building to make and store small batches of wine. Future expansion at the back of the building to consider a shed for limited wine tasting events.
