Oregon, WI 53575 608-835-3200 Published 4/30/26 and 5/07/26 Page 10 of 46 J e s s e S t r a u b h a a r 10949 Eckel Rd Blue Mounds, WI 53517 608-444-1255 Tuesday, April 7, 2026 Town of Oregon 1138 Union Road Oregon, WI, 53575 608-835-3200 Dear Township Officials, I am writing regarding the property I purchased at 825 County Highway MM in Oregon. It has come to light that, due to an administrative error by the Township, the proper deed transfer between two parcels was never completed. This issue was brought to the Township’s attention in October 2025. As the current owner of record, I hold title to the property, continue to pay property taxes, and there is no recorded easement affecting my land. However, the unresolved parcel discrepancy is preventing me from fully utilizing or selling the property and is resulting in ongoing financial impact. To resolve this matter efficiently and fairly, I am requesting the following: x That the Township arrange and cover the cost of a licensed surveyor to accurately delineate the two parcels of land in question. x That the Township cover the cost of an attorney to draft deeds transferring the two parcels of land in question. x That all necessary documentation be properly recorded with the Dane County Register of Deeds to reflect this correction. This request does not involve any financial compensation to me, only a correction of the Township’s prior error. The proposed adjustment will benefit both parties by resolving the title issue, improving the usability and safety of the lot, and enhancing the property’s marketability within the Township. My intent is to clean up the property, remove the existing dilapidated structure, and prepare the lot for a new home. However, this cannot move forward until the title issue is resolved. I respectfully request prompt action to correct this matter. I am seeking a clear timeline for when the Township intends to proceed with the survey, land adjustment, and recording of the corrected parcels. Thank you for your immediate attention to this issue. I look forward to your response. Thank you, sincerely, Jesse Straubhaar Page 11 of 46 Page 12 of 46 Page 13 of 46 Page 14 of 46 Page 15 of 46 Page 16 of 46 Page 17 of 46 Page 18 of 46 Page 19 of 46 Page 20 of 46 Page 21 of 46 Page 22 of 46 Page 23 of 46 Page 24 of 46 Page 25 of 46 Page 26 of 46 Page 27 of 46 Page 28 of 46 Page 29 of 46 Page 30 of 46 Page 31 of 46 Page 32 of 46 Page 33 of 46 Page 34 of 46 Page 35 of 46 Page 36 of 46 Page 37 of 46 Page 38 of 46 Page 39 of 46 Page 40 of 46 Page 41 of 46 Page 42 of 46 Page 43 of 46 Page 44 of 46 Page 45 of 46 Page 46 of 46
