Town of Oregon Budget Public Hearing and Special Town Meeting of Electors Minutes Monday, November 10, 2025 1. Open Public Hearing Chair Walser opened the public hearing at 6:06pm on Monday, November 10, 2025. 2. Presentation of the 2026 Budget Chair Walser gave a presentation on the 2026 budget. 3. Public Comments and Questions Chair Walser opened the floor for questions from the audience. Lee Christensen, 4827 Rome Corners Road, recommended a total comprehensive property assessment to ensure that all properties are assessed equitably. Sharon Christensen, 4827 Rome Corners Road, added that there are discrepancies and that when discrepancies were raised to the assessor that they were told they cannot inquire of other properties. 4. Close Public Hearing Chair Walser closed the public hearing at 6:22pm. 5. Call Special Town Meeting of Electors to Order Chair Carl Walser immediately called the special town meeting of electors to order after closing the public hearing. 6. Discussion and possible Approval re: Adoption of the 202 5 total town tax levy, to be collected in 2026 pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 60.10(1)(a) Walser asked to vote by a show of hands. Motion made by Tim LeBrun, 933 County Road MM, to adopt the 2025 town tax levy of $ 1,368,243.00 to be paid in 202 6. Second by Steve Jernegan , 5464 Alan Drive. 8-Yes, 0- No, and 3-Abstained.
