TOWN BOARD BUDGET MEETING OCTOBER 23, 2025 – 6:00 P.M. TOWN HALL, 2354 COUNTY ROAD N PRESENT: Chairperson Dick Green, Supervisors Melanie Miller, Eric Olson, Renee Gouaux and Faith Schuck, and Clerk/Treasurer Maria Hougan ABSENT: OTHERS PRESENT: N/A CALL TO ORDER: Chairperson Green called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: No one appeared or registered to speak during the public comment period. BUSINESS 1. Discussion and work meeting on the 2026 Budget. The Board reviewed the updated 2026 budget spreadsheets. 2. Convene into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes 19.85(1)(c) “considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.” Set employee’s compensation for 2026. Motion by Supervisor Olson, second by Sup. Schuck, to Convene into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes 19.85(1)(c) “considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.” Motion carries 5-0 on a roll call vote with Supervisors Miller, Gouaux, Olson, Schuck, and Town Chair Green voting in favor. The Board discussed the employee compensation for 2026. 3. Following the closed session, the Board will reconvene in open session for possible action on items discussed in closed session. Motion by Supervisor Olson, second by Sup. Gouaux, to reconvene in open session. Motion carried 5-0 on a roll call vote with Supervisors Miller, Gouaux, Olson, Schuck, and Town Chair Green voting in favor. Motion by Supervisor Miller, second by Sup. Gouaux, to set the 2026 employee wage compensation increase at 3% for all town employees. Motion carries 5-0. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Supervisor Olson, Second by Sup.
