Page 1 of 1 Town of Merton Special Town Board Meeting Minutes of September 25, 2025 On Thursday, September 25, 2025 the Town Board will meet at 5:00 p.m. for a Special Town Board Meeting. • Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Klink 5:00 pm • Pledge of Allegiance led by Chairman Klink Present: Chairman Klink, Supervisors Olson, Fleming and Krogmann, and Clerk Hann. Absent Supervisor Herrick. Also in attendance: Mellanie Mercier, Glenda Dolphin. Consider/Act on Library Resolution to exempt Town of Merton from Waukesha County Library 2025 Levy for 2026 Purposes. Chairman Klink reviewed the resolution to exempt from Waukesha County Library Levy. A motion to the Library Resolution to exempt the Town of Merton from Waukesha County Library 2025 Levy for 2026 purposes was made by Olson/Krogman. Chairman Klink talked about having continued discussions with the Library Board and Library Director. The Board has not reviewed the budget for the Town Hall Library. Motion Carried. Consider/Act on Resolution to Borrow for the 2025 for the purchase of Highway Equipment, Fire Capital, Town Hall Remodeling and Road Projects, etc. Clerk Hann reviewed three different loan amounts and how they affect the tax rate. A motion to approve borrowing $1,426,000 over 5 years was made by Krogmann/Olson. Motion Carried. Adjourn - A motion to adjourn was made by Fleming/Krogmann. Motion carried.
