TOWN BOARD BUDGET MEETING OCTOBER 06, 2022 – 6:00 P.M. TOWN HALL, 2354 COUNTY ROAD N PRESENT: Chairperson David Pfeiffer, Supervisors Eric Olson, Dick Green, Dana Stadler, and Melanie Miller, and Clerk/Treasurer Maria Hougan ABSENT: OTHERS PRESENT: Superintendent Alex Mesdjian (virtually) Chairperson Pfeiffer called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. BUSINESS: Discussion and work meeting on the 2023 Budget. The Board reviewed the proposed expenditures portion of the 2023 budget. They also reviewed and discussed the proposed road work and capital equipment purchases. Discussion and possible action regarding reinvesting of funds held in a Certificate of Deposit from DMB Community Bank in the amount of $113,874.79 maturing on October 15, 2023. The Board reviewed the information provided in the packet regarding CD rates offered at several banking entities. Motion by Supervisor Miller, second by Sup. Green to reinvest the Certificate of Deposit with DMB Bank at a rate of 3.0% for a period of 12 months. Motion carried 5-0. The next budget meeting will be held on October 20, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Supervisor Green, seconded by Sup.
