SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING, November 12, 2021 – 10:00 A.M. VIA VIRTUAL ZOOM MEETING PRESENT: Chair David Pfeiffer, Supervisor Jay Damkoehler, Supervisor Janiece Bolender, Supervisor Doug Larsson, and Clerk/Treasurer Maria Hougan ABSENT: Supervisor Eric Olson OTHERS PRESENT: Deputy Clerk / Treasurer candidates CALL TO ORDER Chair Pfeiffer called the meeting to order at 10:00 A.M. ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSSIBLE CLOSED SESSION PUBLIC COMMENT BUSINESS Interview with Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Candidates. Second interviews were held for the two top candidates. The Board discussed the candidates. The Board unanimously decided to offer the position to Laura Trotter. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Supervisor Damkoehler, second by Sup. Larsson, to adjourn the meeting at12:02. Motion to adjourn was rescinded. Motion by Supervisor Larsson, second by Sup. Bolender, to offer the position to Laura Trotter at a rate of $19.00, with an increase to $20.00 after 6 -month probationary period. Motion carried 4-0. Motion by Supervisor Bolender, second by Sup. Damkoehler, to adjourn at 12:05. Motion carried unanimously.
