TOWN OF ROXBURY MEETING MINUTES JANUARY 5, 2026 TOWN BOARD MEETING OF THE TOWN OF ROXBURY WILL BE ON MONDAY JANUARY 5, 2026 AT 7:00 P.M. THIS IS AN IN PERSON OR VIRTUAL MEETING. TOWN CHAIRPERSON HAS COMMUTATION OF THIS PUBLIC MEETING TO OFFICIAL TOWN NOTICE. AGENDA 1. Call to Order – Chairman Ganser called meeting to order at 7:00pm. 2. Pledge of Allegiance – Recited by All 3. Roll Call – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley, Nanette Backeberg and Lisa Meinholz present 4. Verification of Public Notice – Verified public notice was posted on outdoor bulletin board and town website. 5. Approval of January 5, 2026 Agenda – Jim Wipperfurth made a motion to approve the January 5, 2026 meeting minutes. 2nd by Mike Bradley. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 6. Approval of December 15, 2025 Board Meeting Minutes – Jim Wipperfurth made a motion to approve the December 15, 2025 board meeting minutes. 2nd by Mike Bradley. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 7. Approval of December 29, 2025 Quorum Minutes – Jim Wipperfurth made a motion to approve the December 29, 2025 quorum meeting minutes. 2nd by Mike Bradley. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 8. Public Opinion – Nanette reported that the January settlements were smaller due to new system closing December receipts at 4:00pm December 31st. Anything not entered by then will be added to the February settlements. 9. Discussion and Approval of Ordinance 2026-01, Ordinance for Town of Roxbury Alternate Claims Procedure/Action – Mike Bradley made a motion to approve Ordinance 2026-01, Ordinance for Town of Roxbury Alternate Claims Procedure. 2nd by Jim Wipperfurth. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 10. Resolution to Transfer Money from General Fund to Machinery Fund/Action – Mike Bradley made a motion to table agenda item #10 until a future meeting. 2nd by Jim Wipperfurth. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 11. Discussion on Planning Commission Chair wages/Action – Jim Wipperfurth made a motion to table agenda item #11 until a future meeting. 2nd by Mike Bradley. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 12. Patrolman Report – Josh is putting a list together of priorities for 2026 expenditures. 13. Correspondence Letters/E-mails – Notice from Jared Walker Smith that 2026 and 2027 rates will be increased for his services. Other miscellaneous informational emails. 14. Approve Bills – Jim Wipperfurth made a motion to approve the bills. 2nd by Mike Bradley. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 15. Approve Checks – Mike Bradley made a motion to approve check #’s 15820 thru 15828, void check # 15829, and check #’s 15830 thru 15835. 2nd by Jim Wipperfurth.
