TOWN OF ROXBURY MEETING MINUTES JULY 21, 2025 TOWN BOARD MEETING OF THE TOWN OF ROXBURY WILL BE ON MONDAY JULY 21, 2025 AT 7:00 P.M. THIS IS AN IN PERSON MEETING. TOWN CHAIRPERSON HAS COMMUTATION OF THIS PUBLIC MEETING TO OFFICIAL TOWN NOTICE. MEETING AGENDA 1. Call to Order – Chairman Nick Ganser called meeting to order at 7:00 pm. 2. Pledge of Allegiance – Recited by All 3. Roll Call – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley, Nanette Backeberg and Lisa Meinholz all present 4. Verification of Public Notice – Verified public notice was posted on Town Website and Outdoor Bulletin Board. 5. Approval of July 21, 2025 Agenda – Nick Ganser made a motion to approve the July 21, 2025 meeting agenda. 2nd by Jim Wipperfurth. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 6. Approval of July 7, 2025 Board Meeting Minutes – Jim Wipperfurth made a motion to approve the July 7, 2025 meeting minutes. 2nd by Nick Ganser. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth. NO -0 Mike Bradley abstained. Motion Carried. 7. Public Opinion – Nick Ganser questioned if we had heard from Emergency Management since they determined EF-0 tornado. Nothing heard yet. 8. Sauk Prairie Ambulance Commission Discussion Re: Paramedic Level Service, Kelli Kirch and David White – David White shared presentation on a preliminary budget changing to Paramedic Level of Service ( 4 full time paramedics) and some of the costs that could be involved depending on the program they choose to take. They plan on giving a presentation to the public in the future. The cost to Town of Roxbury is estimated at around $47,000. This is about $30,000 more than we are paying at this time. 9. Dick Meier, Honey Creek ATV-UTV Club Discussion on Connecting Dane County and Sauk County via Hwy 188 and Hwy 60 Bridge – Dick Meier was here to see if Town of Roxbury would be on board to do an ordinance stating that we agree to the opening of the ATV-UTV route to connect Dane County and Sauk County. Dick will provide a copy of what the ordinance needs to comply. 10. Wage Increase Discussion for Town Janitorial Position/Action – Lisa is looking into other municipalities and how they pay for janitorial services when there is a town hall that gets rented out for parties. This is tabled until August 4, 2025 Board meeting. 11. Correspondence Letters – Email was sent in to tell us the great job Josh did on mowing Taylor Rd. 12. Patrolman Report – Reported on tornado clean up. Also, spraying and mowing to continue after cleanup is done. 13. Approve Bills – Mike Bradley made a motion to approve the bills. 2nd by Jim Wipperfurth. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 14. Approve Checks – Mike Bradley made a motion to approve check numbers 15641, 15645 thru 15653, and check 15654. 2nd by Jim Wipperfurth. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 15. Adjourn – Mike Bradley made a motion to adjourn. 2nd by Jim Wipperfurth. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried.
