TOWN OF ROXBURY MEETING MINUTES JUNE 16, 2025 TOWN BOARD MEETING OF THE TOWN OF ROXBURY WILL BE ON MONDAY JUNE 16, 2025 AT 7:00 P.M. THIS IS AN IN PERSON MEETING. TOWN CHAIRPERSON HAS COMMUTATION OF THIS PUBLIC MEETING TO OFFICIAL TOWN NOTICE. MEETING AGENDA 1. Call to Order – Chairman Nick Ganser called meeting to order at 7:03 pm 2. Pledge of Allegiance – Recited by All 3. Roll Call – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley, Nanette Backeberg and Lisa Meinholz present 4. Verification of Public Notice – Verified public notice was posted on Outdoor Bulletin Board and Town Website 5. Approval of June 16, 2025 Agenda – Jim Wipperfurth made a motion to approve the June 16, 2025 Board meeting agenda. 2nd by Mike Bradley. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 6. Approval of June 2, 2025 Board Meeting Minutes – Jim Wipperfurth made a motion to approve the June 2, 2025 board meeting minutes. 2nd by Mike Bradley. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 7. Public Opinion – Jeremy Lange came to introduce himself as the new Town Chairman for Town of Mazomanie. Resident complained about mowing in front of her property. Nick Ganser will talk to town Attorney to see if he can write a letter to her explaining that the road right of way should be kept clear. 8. Approval of Liquor License application for: Combination “Class B” Liquor & Class “B” Beer on premises: $400.00 Renewal application for “Class B Combination” license for ROX LLC, dba ON THE ROX, 8901 County Rd Y, Sauk City, WI 53583. Submitted by Forest Fitzgerald, president, 8917 County Rd Y, Sauk City WI, 53583 – Mike Bradley made a motion to approve Class B Combination license to ROX LLC, dba ON THE ROX, 8901 County Rd Y, Sauk City, WI 53583, for the amount of $400.00. 2nd by Jim Wipperfurth. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. Renewal application for “Class B Combination” license for Good Oak Restaurant LLC, dba Green Acres, 7487 Hwy 78, Sauk City WI, 53583. Submitted by Daniel Cunningham, president, N876 Club Circle Dr, Prairie du Sac WI, 53578 - Mike Bradley made a motion to approve Class B Combination license to Good Oak Restaurant LLC, dba Green Acres, 7487 Hwy 78, Sauk City WI, 53583. for the amount of $400.00. 2nd by Jim Wipperfurth. Review and Approve Town of Roxbury Ordinance No. 2025-01 Joint Municipal Court with Village of Prairie du Sac and Village of Sauk City/Action – Mike Bradley made a motion to approve Ordinance No. 2025-01 Joint Municipal Court with Village of Prairie du Sac and Village of Sauk Cit. 2nd by Jim Wipperfurth. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 10. Review and Approve Amendment Number Two to the Agreement for the Formation of a Joint Municipal Court and Operation of the Sauk Prairie Court Commission/Action – This has been tabled until the July 7, 2025 Town Board Meeting due to question. 11. Set up Date and Time for Board to meet with Town Road Patrolman, Josh Jones due to probation term will be up June 30th, 2025 – Closed meeting date is set for Tuesday June 24, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. 12. Correspondence Letters – Resident asked for a variance to have two driveways on their property. Board indicated that there are no variances on driveway permits. Other miscellaneous emails. 13. Patrolman Report – Discussion on Culverts replacements. Weed spraying to clear out the rest of the brush trimming locations. New mower has been ordered and should be here in a few weeks. Old mower has been sold and will be turned over after new mower is delivered. 14. Approve Bills – Mike Bradley made a motion to approve the bills. 2nd by Jim Wipperfurth. YES – Nick Ganser, Jim Wipperfurth, Mike Bradley. NO – 0 Motion Carried. 15. Approve Checks – Mike Bradley made a motion to approve check #’s 15607 thru 15619. 2nd by Jim Wipperfurth.
