Page 1 of 2 Town of Merton Town Board Meeting Minutes of June 11, 2025 Special Town Board Meeting for a Joint Owners Meeting with Western Lakes Fire District • Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Klink 6:00 pm with the WLFD Fire Board and Municipal Owners. • Pledge of Allegiance Present: Chairman Klink, , Supervisors Olson and Krogmann, WLFD Board Rep Laabs, and Clerk Hann. Town of Ottawa, Village of Dousman, Village of Summit, City of Oconomowoc & Village of Lac LaBelle/Town of Oconomowoc. Absent: Supervisors Herrick and Fleming. Presentation of the 2024 Annual Financial Audit. The Financial Statements and Audit review for Western Lakes Fire District was presented by Clifton Larson Allen Wealth Advisors. Presentation – Partner2Learn. There was a short presentation from Partner2Learn regarding Clifton Strengths, Professional Development, Succession Planning for Western Lakes. Presentation – District Updates (2024 Year in Review, 2025 Projects, 2026 Budget Goals) Chief Bowen presented a review of 2024 and current 2025 Projects. There was a handout of 2026 Budget priorities. Discussion/Action – Revised and Restated WLFD Intermunicipal Agreement The revised WLFD Intermunicipal Agreement was review to include the Town of Merton as a municipal owner with Western Lakes Fire District. A motion accepting the final draft to make the Town of Merton a Municipal Owner of the Western Lakes Fire District was made by Krogmann/Olson. Motion carried. Motion passed unanimously by the Town of Ottawa, Village of Dousman, Village of Summit, and the City of Oconomowoc. The Town of Merton was welcomed as a new owner of the Fire District. Future Meetings The Fall Budget Meeting was set for Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 6 pm location: City of Oconomowoc Police Department. Adjournment Motion to adjourn was made by Krogman/Olson. Respectfully Submitted Donna Hann, Town Clerk Page 2 of 2 Immediately following Meeting with Western Lakes Fire District meeting on June 11, 2025, Chairman Klink called to order a special meeting to: Consider/Act on a Temporary Class B License Wine and Beer License for an Event for Lake Country Unitarian Universalist Church, W299N5595 Grace Dr, Hartland WI a motion to approve the temporary Class B Wine and Beer License for Lake Country Unitarian Universalist Church was made by Olson/Krogman.
