PC Chairman’s report for BoS 9-8-2025 meeting
I had about 16 hours on Plan Commission tasks in August and in the beginning of September.
Time was spent organizing for the Salmon and Malcore rezoning ordinances, Steve Albers rezoning and shipping containers, and especially culvert issues
Jesse and I also discussed GLC’s revised interest in the BA Swamp property several times…
…and a generic inquiry about the town’s regulations on housing sex offenders in ToL
Joe and I discussed KFI’s interested in a CUP to rebuild their barn due to a failing roof and their questions about the application of the sign ordinance
I sent the sign ordinance to LK and Amanda with highlights so that we could discuss it at our next PC meeting
Much time was spent discussing Mueller’s driveway issue and editing a letter Jesse wrote addressing what Muellers are required to do and by when; and how to deliver such a letter.
Jesse and I met with Muellers and their support crew at their driveway to discuss what they need to do to be in compliance.
Finally, edited lots of docs (Driveways and Culverts, Sign Ordinance, Fee Schedule) and got the docs sent to all who needed them.
Lots of phone time with both Jesse and Joe this past month.
We have one PC meeting scheduled for September 24th. The agenda includes:
A CUP hearing for KFI for their proposed barn rebuild;
Perhaps a hearing on the edited sign ordinance
Perhaps a meeting with GLC staff about support for their acquiring land in the BA Swamp.
Perhaps Steve Albers multiple shipping containers and rezoning issues.
Work the PC needs to do yet includes:
The Records Retention Ordinance;
Job descriptions for town officials and appointees;
Mick Sagrillo, Plan Commission chair
