PC Chairman’s report for BoS 6-9-2025 meeting I had about 10 hours on Plan Commission tasks in May. I discussed survey issues on Black Ash Road with Greg Peot. I had several discussions with Neil Destree about Mueller’s driveway encroaching on Silver Creek and the adjoining wetlands. His concern is about Silver Creek backing up and flooding his hay barn. I advised him to contact the DNR as they have more authority than ToL about the wetland and Silver Creek blockage. I did tell Neil that no culvert installed in the driveway would be looked into by ToL. I discussed the location of Mueller’s driveway with ZA Joe Jerabek and the fact that the location of the driveway does not jive with the documents submitted and approved by the PC and BoS. This needs to be addressed. I drafted a RoW construction application and CUP for the PC and BoS to consider. I reviewed the WI records retention requirements and documents that are pertinent to ToL to be sent to the PC and BoS. I had a phone call from ZA Joe about cell tower requirements and setbacks for a possible permit applicant. I also had a discussion with ZA Joe about the requirements for a possible applicant for a home vineyard. I had a discussion with ZA Joe about J Peters rezoning applications and whether the septic setbacks are satisfied. Finally, I got an inquiry from a resident asking about being able to shoot a fire arm on his small property parcel. I learned that you must be 100’?/300’? away from the nearest nearest neighbor. We had a PC meeting on May 28th. At that meeting, the PC: Approved a CUP for KFI to bore under Spruce Rd and Robin Ln to alleviate flooding in adjacent fields; Reviewed and edited a draft application and CUP for buried pipelines and fiber optics in RoWs. We still need to decide on fees; Began reviewing Records Retention Records; Determined that they need to address Steve Albers multiple shipping containers and zoning; Address the Mueller’s driveway and culvert; Amending the ZO to allow for construction of an accessory building prior to construction of a principal structure. There were no rezoning requests in May. Also the ZA needs to be appointed to take minutes at PC meetings. We have a PC meeting scheduled for June 25th. On the agenda for that meeting so far is: Two rezoning requests; Review the edited draft ordinance regulating buried pipelines and fiber optics in the town’s RoWs; Continue work on the Records Retention Ordinance for town documents was tables. Are there any update on the derelict building at E4500 Cty K? Mick Sagrillo, Plan Commission chair
