PC Chairman’s report for BoS 4-7-2025 meeting
I had about 5.25 hours on Plan Commission tasks in March.
One major issue I worked on in March February was the Development Agreement for KFI to bore under Spruce and Robin to relieve the backed up water on Lynda Cochart’s fields.
A lot of documents were reviewed and sent out including for KFI 360 Rain Irrigation Equipment, Mueller rezoning, Reimer rezoning, and Wery rezoning.
I had calls with both Jesse and Zoning Administrator Jerabek about Randy Vlies rezoning.
I had several questions from Zoning Administrator Joe Jerabek and Town Chair Jesse Jerabek;
We had a PC meeting on March 26 that I attended electronically. At that meeting, the PC approved the Mueller, Reimer, and Wery rezoning requests. The PC recessed and the BoS convened to approve both of these rezoning requests.
The PC also recessed so that the BoS could consider and approve the KFI request for a DD for their 360 Rain Irrigation Equipment.
Finally, as there was no public input on Ordinance 2025-1 on Shipping Containers, the PC approved the ordinance and forwarded the ordinance on to the BoS for consideration and adoption.
We had a Plan Commission scheduled for on April 30, 2025. At that meeting, the Plan Commission will:
Work on the Kinnard Farms Development Agreement to Conditional Use Permit to bore under Spruce Road and Robin Lane to alleviate flooding.
Consider a CUP application from KFI for an 80’ x 228’ Equipment Storage Shed.
Perhaps consider a rezoning request from Vlies Electric on Church Rd.
Begin working on Records Retention Ordinance for town documents.
Begin drafting job descriptions for the town officers and appointees.
See photo of derelict building at E4500 Cty K—what to do about this property?
