PC Chairman’s report for BoS 12-2-2024 meeting
I had about 17.75 hours on PC tasks in November including PC admin work.
ZA Joe Jerabek and I worked on updating the official ToL Zoning Map. It needs to official signature of the Tol town chair to make it officially updated. (The re-zonings are listed for the record):
The Grace Annoye Trust rezoned approx 3.00 acres from a 40 acre A-1 Ag to Rs-1
The Virginia Cochart Trust rezoned approx 2.00 acres from 39 acre A-1 Ag to Rs-1
Michelle Heidmann a 2.436 acre Rs-1 and a 14.040 acre A-2 Ag into one 16.476 acre A-2 Ag parcel
Gary Veeser rezone approx 3.70 acres from A-1 Ag to A-2 Ag. The remaining approx. 22.6 acres of the parent parcel belonging to Rodney Dhuey was rezoned to A-2 Ag to conform to zoning ordinance requirements. Gary Veeser’s 3.70 acre A-2 Ag parcel was also merged with his adjacent 8.08 A-2 Ag parcel, making the new parcel 11.75 acres of A-2 Ag.
Kevin and Lori Kinnard rezoned a 35 acre parcel into a 1.5 acre Rs-1 parcel, a 3 acre Rs-1 parcel, and a 15.5 acre A-2 Ag parcel. Another 20 acre A-2 Ag parcel was split off for Red Maple Farms.
I drafted a job description for the PC chair, to be reviewed and edited by the PC and BoS. Also, MAS emailed a job description for the town clerk for the PC and BoS to review and edit.
We had a PC meeting on Nov 20th. On the agenda was a CUP for KFI to bore under Tamarack Rd. to replace a tile line just north of Cty. Rd. C. The CUP action report was reviewed and approved by both the PC and the BoS. The KFI CUP request for the tile line replacement on Tamarack Rd. was also approved by the BoS. I drafted a CUP for the KFI tile replacement which Lee Kinnard and Jesse Jerabek signed.
The PC also heard a CUP request from Larry Paul at E4408 Hawk Rd. Algoma for a shipping container that he installed on his property in the summer of 2024. The PC and BoS went over the action report and approved the CUP with the note that Larry Paul has not yet paid the $400 CUP application fee. The Larry Paul request for the shipping container was approved by the BoS, pending payment of the $400 CUP fee.
The PC and BoS discussed a trailer that Scott Fenendael has parked in front of his piglet facility on Cty P north of Pheasant Rd. The trailer appears to be a non-compliant structure or a non-compliant use. Joe Jerabek is to look into the situation.
The job descriptions for the PC chair and the town clerk for review by the PC were tabled for a future meeting.
It should be noted that the PC chair’s position was funded at $2,400 per year beginning in 2025. Much thanks from this PC chair for the BoS forward thinking as to replacement.
