1. Call to Order: 6:00 p.m., Village Hall Meeting Room, 122 E. Lincoln Ave., Fall Creek 2. Roll Call: Members Present: Chairman Tim Raap, Helen Hartmann, Curt Van Auken, Tom Williamson, Dane Zook. Members Absent: Dale Reetz, Curt Strasburg. Staff Present: Deputy Clerk Joan Drehmel. Also Present: Jacob Eckel. 3. Certify Open Meeting Law Requirements Have Been Met: A notice of the meeting and an agenda was posted in the three public places and newspapers were notified. 4. Adopt Agenda: ▪ MOTION (Williamson/Van Auken) to adopt the agenda as printed. PASSED, without negative vote. 5. Consider Sign Permit in Downtown Business District @ 106 E Lincoln Avenue: Jacob Eckel introduced himself as the new owner of The Loading Bench (formerly The Long Shot) located at 106 E Lincoln Avenue. The business will remain the same, but Eckel intends to have more business hours during the week. The committee reviewed his sign permit. The Village Architect’s review of the permit had only one suggestion – that the existing wooden backing that the sign will be attached to be painted or stained so no exposed wood is visible. Eckel was in agreement with the suggestion. ▪ MOTION (Zook/Hartmann) recommending approval of the sign permit in the downtown business district at 106 E Lincoln Avenue. The existing wooden backing the sign will be attached to must be painted or stained to protect it from the elements. PASSED, without negative vote. 6.
