1. Call to Order: 4:30 p.m., Fall Creek Area Fire Department, 530 E. Lincoln Ave., Fall Creek 2. Roll Call: Members Present: Committee Chairperson Bob Jenkins, Trustees Matt Mattoon and Karen Strasburg. Members Absent: None. Staff Present: Police Chief Chad Dachel and Administrator/Public Works Director Jared McKee. Also Present: Village President Tim Raap and Trustee Sheena Kaatz. 3. Certify Open Meeting Law Requirements Have Been Met: A notice of the meeting and an agenda was posted at the three public places and local newspapers were notified. 4. Adopt Agenda:  MOTION (Strasburg/Mattoon) to adopt the agenda. PASSED, without negative vote. 5. Discuss Police Policy Manual: The manual submitted for review is in a new format which is easier to follow. Possible edits were discussed, including what should be in the village code book and/or employee handbook. Chief Dachel and Administrator McKee will work on the changes discussed and will present it to the Village Board for approval.  MOTION (Mattoon/Strasburg) recommending Chief Dachel and Administrator/Public Works Director McKee work together to make changes to the policy and bring it to the Village Board for approval. PASSED, without negative vote. 6. Discuss Police Department Staffing: Chief Dachel would like direction due to recent staffing changes. The consensus of the committee was to maintain the same coverage (2 full-time officers with part-time officers filling in shifts). Possible shift changes, and use of the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Dept was discussed. Trustee Matt Mattoon left the meeting. Committee suggested posting job opening on Wisconsin Law Enforcement Network next week. 7. Adjourn:  MOTION (Strasburg/Jenkins) @ 6:00 p.m. PASSED, without negative vote.
