BADKE NOTICE
URBAN FORESTRY BOARD
CITY OF MENOMONIE
April 26, 2026
10:00 am
Pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.84(2) and (3), notice is hereby given that a majority of the Urban
Forestry Board and/or City Council may be present at Phelan Park (1200 21st Ave East,
Menomonie, Wisconsin, 54751) on Sunday, April 26, 2026 to plant trees.
The topics of conversation include tree planting, tree species and tree protection.
For the purposes of the open meeting law only, this constitutes a meeting of the Urban Forestry
Board and City Council pursuant to State ex rel Badke v. Greendale Village Board, 173 Wis. 2d
533, 494 NW2d 408 (1993), and must be noticed as such, although no formal action will be
taken at this time.
