PARK COMMISSION MINUTES September 7, 2022 Meeting called to order 6:35pm Commission Members in attendance: Fred Belay, Jennifer Meyer, Kathy Alf, Tom Roach, Barb Kleist, Sarah Titera , and Dean Kallenbach; Guest: Dennis Mack Adopt Agenda: motion made by Kathy/sec Jennifer and passed Approval of August 3 minutes: motion made by Dean/sec Sarah and passed Financial Report Approval of Work Log for August 2022; Brett Huber 4.5@15=67.50, Jase Meyer 1@15=$15, Barb Kleist 11@15=$165, Fred Belay 11.5@15=172.50, Tom Roach 9.5@15=142.50 motion made by Dean/sec Sarah and passed Approval of invoice # 2455 for $390 six no trespassing signs and invoice #2458 for $213 six bench plaques from SuperSignMan Approval of Tumaniec Invoice for $100 mowing Sherman Park motion made by Jennifer/sec Dean and passed Old Business Dennis Mack from Cedar Corp presented draft of the amended Town of Union Comprehensive Outdoor Plan. The Commission will study the draft to make recommendations for the November meeting. Jennifer will make contact with Jodi Theising Ritter; motion made by Dean /sec Jennifer and passed Camera memory expansion is complete, waiting for the bill. Theft of building materials from the pavilion was caught on cameras. Video has been given to the Sheriff’s Department to press charges. The site for the tower at the Conservancy is being prepared by the Union Firemen. The shed the fire department was going to bring in was small, with just enough space for tower equipment. The Commission wishes to expand the size of the shed so there is enough room to store the lawnmower.
