Minutes of Previous Meeting - January 22, 2026 Minutes were accepted as presented. Public Hearings 1. Swanson Request for Two Variances and a Conditional Use Permit for a Dwelling Addition in the St. Croix Riverway-Town of St. Joseph Public Hearing opened at 8:34 AM. Public Hearing closed at 9:43 AM. 2. Twin Springs Trust Variance to Exceed Maximum Dwelling Size in the St. Croix Riverway-Town of Somerset Public Hearing opened at 9:58 AM. Public Hearing closed at 10:19 AM. Business 1. Swanson Conditional Use Permit Request in the Lower St. Croix Riverway Overlay District for filling and grading within 40 feet of a Slope Preservation Zone—Town of St. Joseph. Kevin Grabau, Land Use Administrator, presented to the Board. Motion: Motion to approve the requests from Swanson for a Conditional Use Permit and Two Variances for Swanson in the Town of St. Joseph. Swanson Variance Request in the Lower St. Croix Riverway Overlay District to reconstruct existing decks in the same footprint—Town of St. Joseph 4. Twin Springs Trust Variance Request in the Lower St. Croix Riverway Overlay District to construct an addition to a non-conforming principal structure—Town of Somerset Jason Kjeseth, Community Development Director, presented to the Board. Motion: Motion to approve the Variance Request for Twin Springs Trust to construct an addition to a non-conforming principal structure in the Town of Somerset.
