Minutes of Previous Meeting - September 11, 2025 Minutes were accepted as presented. Public Comment None. Business 1. Family Treatment Court Discussion • Presentation by Judge Waterman on FTC. • Open discussion with committee. Request for Future Agenda Items • Lisa Plunkett requests Kara with UW-Extension give presentation on Triple P Fear-Less Program. • Michelle Leccia requests to update the committee regarding St. Croix County participating in First Placement Project from State to increase the number of initial placements with relatives. • Attorney Patel requests discussion at next meeting regarding Child Welfare Conference and Juvenile Justice Conference, which were both held in September. Family Treatment Court Updates. • Update by Attorney Patel - working on drafting manual; Referrals accepted beginning January 1, 2026; Judge Needham to backup Judge Waterman • CJCC - Child Welfare/Juvenile Justice Subcommittee will be serving as the oversight committee for FTC 2. Update on the Role of Substance Use Counselor Embedded in Family Treatment Court. • Discussion on Substance Use Conselor role 3.
