Doubleheaders on Sundays. From her previous experience w/ this being through the Metro League w/ two metro teams playing in between Booster doubleheaders, Chair Berke asked Member Schneider to verify with Stacy Busta that this is Booster sponsored. It’s been pleasant, parking lot usually isn’t full. People are finding it through Google. Member Reese has taken ownership of Google maps listing and is still trying with Yelp; listed as a top 10 dog beach so he’s trying to get that fixed. Will check all Town parks, so all info is accurate information. b. Discuss and consider, review of policy for open/close conditions Discussion on how much beach should be available to be open and also safety concerns when there is very little beach available. Policy currently says if debris is removed and less than 683, then Pemble’s is open. Discussed having a point on the beach that is safe and open for beach Town of Troy Park Board Minutes, July 23, 2019 APPROVED Page 4 of 4 users. Supr. Cuccia pointed out that kayakers/canoers don’t need beach to launch. Discussion on using 683 since that’s the number people usually know; however Town can also set their own number. Hudson boat launch closes at water level of 681. Member Reese will mark different levels of water with stakes, so we have data to review. Matter to be on future agenda. c. Discuss and consider, plan for replacement of fencing The last section of fencing has collapsed on south side & is a hazard. The fencing on north side is up but along the top it needs help. Supr. Cuccia will talk to Kevin Grabau at the county to see if any riverway permits are needed for repair/maintenance. Will ask Gary look at the southern piece that’s under the water to see if it can be removed immediately. Member Reese will contact fence vendors for opinion/quote for replacing top part on north side and most of the fencing section on south side; plan is to have information for the August meeting. 6.
